Hi! I'm Basil Chatha
I'm a software engineer who ended up a Product Manager at Intuit Credit Karma. During my time there, I worked on the Auto Loans, Personal Loans, and Insurance teams leading projects like our life insurance marketplace, a usage-based auto insurance product called Karma Drive, and a total redesign of our user experience doing $100M revenue annually. Most recently, I was Chief of Staff at a venture studio called Gateway X where I helped our three young portfolio companies do $20M+ combined annual revenue growing 50%+ per year.
I grew up in Cedar Falls, Iowa, and graduated from the University of Southern California Viterbi School of Engineering with a B.S. in Computer Science and a minor in Business Finance.
I currently live in San Francisco, CA.
